Day 01 : Shillong – Arrival, Welcome Ceremony
You will be received at Guwahati and after a welcome ceremony transferred to Shillong (100 kms 3 hrs). Have Lunch enroute at Borapani Umiam Lake, a majestic placid lake with its surrounding sylvan hills. Check in at your hotel. Overnight at your hotel in Shillong.
Day 02 :After an Early morning breakfast drive down to Krem Mawmluh Cave.
This cave is located half a km west of Cherrapunjee adjacent to the small hamlet of Mawmluh. The cave has five river passage with impressive proportions. The cave has a length of over seven Kms. Explore the cave under the guidance of Best caving experts of South Asia. Also visit the Waterfalls of Cherrapunjee (fourth tallest waterfall-Nohkalikai is at Cherrapunji) & Living root Bridges. Overnight stay in Cherrapunjee.
Day 03 : An early wake up call and breakfast in the morning and ready to walk to the Double Decker Livng Root Bridge.
An engineering marvel of Indegenous Khasi Tribesmen. Who weaved the routes of the ereca tree to make bridges across streams. Return to Chera Tourist Resort after a picnic lunch at the bridge. Evening at leisure to experience the breathtaking views of the Khasi hills and the plains of Bangladesh. Overnight at Cherapunjee.
Day 04 : After breakfast drive to Shillong, the ‘Scotland of the East”.
En-route encounter Elephanta falls and Shillong peak for some breathtaking views. Overnight at Shillong.
Day 05 : Shillong:
Sightseeing at Shillong, admire the beauty of Shillong also called Scotland of the East. It is erstwhile capital of undivided Assam; present North-East and home to the Khasi Highland tribes. Overnight at Shillong
Day 06 : Shillong-Kaziranga (280 kms 5 hrs drive)
Afdter a leissurely breakfast drive onto famous Kaziranga National park. Overnight at Kaziranga National Park.
Day 07 : Kaziranga: Elephant Safari, Rhino.
Early morning explore central area of Kaziranga National park on an elephant safari. Ride an Elephant through the park chasing a unicorn rhino along with a wide range of rare species. After lunch again take jeep safari to the central area of the park. Rest of the day at leisure to explore nature. Overnight at tourist Lodge.
Day 08 : Kaziranga-Kohima
Driev to Kohima after breakfast (225 kms 4hrs drive). On arrival lunch at Kohima and proceed to Touphema Village Resort (41 kms from Kohima) run by Angami Naga village community. Overnight at Touphema Tourist village.
Day 09 : Touphema-Kohima-Hornbill Festival
After breakfast check out of the village resort & drive to Kohima to attend the inauguration of Hornbill Festival (December 1st to 5th). It is a festival where Naga tribes come together and celebrate. All Naga warriors use the hornbill feather as a headgear, which is how this occasion was being named hornbill festival. This five days festival has Cultural Events, Traditional Dances & Folk Songs, display of Handloom & Handicrafts, Ethnic Naga food Stalls, Exhibition of flowers, Arts & Crafts etc. It also highlights traditional and modern fashion show & beauty contests and promotes upcoming young artiste. Post lunch visit the WW II Cemetery, nestled in the heart of Kohima town, where one of the fiercest battles was fought. On a huge stone in in-laid bronze the following famous words remained one of the undoubting courage displayed by the war heroes in order to preserve the freedom of the future generation.
“When you go home Tell them of us and say For your Tomorrow We gave our today” Also visit The State Museum, located at Bayani hill kohima, it gives you a peep into the various aspects of Naga Culture. It displays dioramas of the lifestyle of the Naga tribes. Artifacts, handlooms, & Handicrafts, Tools & Implements, Gems & Jewelry, Coins & Ancient weaponry will give you an idea of the rich Culture and Heritage of the native people. Proceed to Kepfiizha (Kigwema village) and check into Dimori Cove Guest. Overnight stay at Dimori Cove.
Day 10 : Kipfiizha-Dziikuo valley
Morning drive to Dziikou valley via Jakhama village. The drive will end at a point from where one has to trek up to the Dzukou valley, which takes 4hrs. Dzukou valley is at a height of 2438 mts is on the southwest side of Japfu ranges. It is at a distance of 25 kms from Kohima and can be approached from different routes via Jakhoma, Viswema on NH 39. This valley is a place of Solace and Tranquility and provides the right atmosphere for all Eco Adventures, Nature lovers, Trekkers. Bamboo brush, a tough dwarf bamboo predominates the vegetation and it gives an appearance of a fully mown lawn from afar. The serpentine streams & rivulets flows leisurely through the valley freeze during winter. Rhododendrons adorn the hills, rocks during spring. Summer brings its own variety of flowers to the valley, during this season, the valley looks a veritable “Garden of Eden”. For all lovers of adventure and trekking, Dziikou beckons with the refrain, which seems to say- “All you seekers of Adventure, And lovers of tough treks, Come and be my guest- And drink deep of my beauty.” Overnight in the rest house/rock caves or tents.
Day 11 : Dziikou Valley Kipfiizha
Morning Explore Dzikou valley. The call of Dziikou is irresistible for trekkers. This is the best trekking spot in the NE Region. Post Lunch return to Dimori Cove and proceed to Hornbill Festival. Overnight stay at Dimori Cove.
Day 12 : Kohima-Khonoma
Morning check out of Dimori Cove & drive to Khonoma (20 kms)Angami Tribal village and the home village of father of Naga Nationalist movement Angami Phizo. This village located on top of a hillock has a pastoral beauty of its own. This was where the Last part of the Anglo Naga War was fought. Return to Kohima for overnight stay.
Day 13 : Kohima- Jorhat Tea Capital of the world, the Thengal Mansion, Assamese village . Early in the morning, we will drive to Jorhat (200 Kms 4 hrs), the tea-capital of Assam. On arrival at Jorhat, you will be accommodated in the Thengal Mansion, a historic ancestral house of a Tea Planter amidst an Asssamese village, 15 kms from Jorhat. The 72-year old Thangal Mansion is to answer the queries on Assamese culture and tradition. After lunch and rest, take a walk in a nearby village to see the simplicity of their lives.
Day 14 : Sibasagar: Ranghar, Tolatol.
Early in the morning we will depart for Sibasagar, the ancient capital of ahom kingdom (1699-1788). Taking a brief rest after lunch, visit Ranghar the Capital and military station of Ahom Kings, then we visit the Tolatol Ghar a seven storied building- Four above and Three Below the ground. The other significant archaeological remains in Sibasagar are Shiva Doul, Vishnu Doul and the Tombs of Ahom Kings and Queens in Charaideo Hillock. Return to Jorhat for overnight stay.
Day 15 : Jorhat-Majuli: Biggest River Island, presentation on wild life.
Early morning drive to Majuli the biggest River Island in the world and seat of Baishnavite monasteries. You will cross-mighty Brahmaputra on a ferry to reach this historic Island. Overnight stay at the Govt. circuit house at Majuli.
Day 16 : Majuli: Baishnavite Monastery, Cultural programme.
Majuli, the biggest river island, laps Kamalabari Satra and Auniati Satra, centers of Vaishnavite culture. Early morning visit to these satras and admire the close proximity of nature that thrills. Arrive back at Circuit house and in the evening enjoy the cultural display by the artists.
Day 17 : Guwahati: River cruise, City.
Early morning drive to Guwahati (340 kms 6hrs). On arrival check in to your hotel. In the evening set out on a River cruise to watch the sun go down the Brahmaputra River and see yourself why the river is locally called ‘Luit’- colour of blood. Overnight at your hotel.
Day 18 : Guwahati: Assam Silk, Pilgrimage centres.
Today you will visit Sualchuci, the Manchester of Assam. Which produces some of the finest qualities of ‘Adi’ and ‘Muga’ silks hand-woven and presented in colourful dresses. There are lots if you want to buy as souvenir. Also visit Hajo an all religion pilgrimage centre. Arrive back at your hotel by afternoon. Rest of day at leisure.
Day19 : Farewell, departure. Day free till the time of departure from Guwahati airport/railway station.
MOTOR BIKE TOUR – LADAKH
Day 01 – Arrive Leh
On arrival at the airport you are transferred to your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure to acclimatize. Evening enjoy a short walk around the Leh bazaar to enjoy the nature life of the people. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02 – In Leh
Morning a half-day visit to the Stok Palace and Museum and on the way back visit the Tibetan Refugee Camp at Choglamasar. Afternoon visit the King’s Palace and Tsemo Gompa. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03 – In Leh
Early morning visit the Thiksey Monastery to witness the praying ceremony. Thereupon visit Hemis Monastery and the Shey Palace. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight at hotel
Day 04 – Leh / Chumathang / Tso Moriri Lake
Morning drive to Chumathang halting en route at Upshi for passport checking. Chumathang is famous for its medical hot spring and people visit here for medical bath. Visit the Chumathang Monastery. Drive on to Maha Bridge the main checking point to enter into this new area. From here the road is rough. Visit the Sumdah village. Drive on another 55kms and you reach Tso Moriri. Check into Camp. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight at Camp.
Day 05 – In Tso Moriri
Morning visit Korzok village and its Gompa that appears like a mirage. Afternoon a visit around the Lake. Overnight at Camp.
Day 06 – Tso Moriri / Leh
Morning drive towards the Puga Valley and visit Mahe village. The village is an unforgettable scene of shooting fountain and white clouds hanging upon. This is Butane gas for which Puga valley is famous. Drive on to Tsokar via Polokongka Pass (13500feet) and visit Tsokar (the Small Lake) and the Thugke Gompa. The place is famous for wild asses. From here a short drive brings you on the National Highway route (Leh – Manali). Continue drive towards Leh via the Tanglangla Pass (5350m), which is the second highest motorable pass in the world. Arrive Leh in the evening and check into your hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 07 – In Leh
Morning a half-day excursion to Spituk and Phyang Monastery. Afternoon visit the Shanker Gompa. Overnight at hotel
Day 08 – Depart Leh
Today you are transferred to the airport to board your flight for onward journey

Day 04: MANDAWA / JAIPUR (180 kms)
Morning drive to Jaipur. Arrive Jaipur and check – in at hotel. Afternoon sightseeing tour of Jaipur including, City Palace in the heart of Jaipur is known for its blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. Not far away is the Central Museum with its large collection of woodwork. Another monument near the City Palace, Jantar Mantar, is the largest of the five observatories built by Sawai Jai Singh. Day 05: IN JAIPUR
Morning excursion to Amber Fort situated just outside the city. You can have the unique experience of traveling on elephant back to and from the top of the hill on which the fort is situated. The remaining day is at your disposal to independently explore the crowded and colorful lanes of the pink city’s bazaars.
Day 06: JAIPUR / KARAULI (150 kms)
Morning drive to Karauli. Enroute explore the lovely countryside. Arrive Karauli and check – in at hotel. Later in the day you will have an opportunity to explore the colorful bazaars and its narrow lanes on your motorbike and also visit the attractions like City Palace, a treasure trove of architecture, stone carvings, gorgeous jalli work and classic paintings. Day 07: KARAULI / AGRA (75 kms)
Morning drive to Agra visiting enroute Bharatpur bird sanctuary where you can enjoy a cycle rickshaw to see birds in their natural habitat and also visit Fatehpur Sikri, an abandoned city that was hardly ever inhabited on account of shortage of water. On arrival in Agra check – in at hotel
Day 08: IN AGRA
Early morning Taj Mahal, which is entirely made of white marble and its walls are decorated with exquisite pietra dura (stone inlay) work. Later visit Agra Fort (also called the Red Fort), which retains the irregular outline of the demolished mud-wall fort of the Lodis.. The Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daula is located in a walled garden overlooking the Yamuna. Akbar’s tomb at Sikandra, located in a large walled garden on the road to Delhi.
Day 09: AGRA / MATHURA / VRINDAVAN / DELHI (210 kms)
Morning drive to Delhi visiting Mathura and Vrindavan enroute. Mathura is famous as the birthplace of Lord Krishna. Besides being an important pilgrim place of the Hindus, it is one of the seven most sacred cities in India; and Vrindavan, associated with the childhood exploits of Lord Krishna.
Day 10: DELHI / DEPART

Bird Watching Assam & Arunachal Pradesh <

Day 01 : Guwahati-Deepor Beel-Guwahati
Guwahati is the best place to start, there are interesting birdwatching sites to enliven a stay including one of the best place in the world to see Greater Adjutant at close range. Deepor Beel, is an extensive wetland within the municipal limits of Guwahati 13 sq. km south west of the town centre. The lake is one of the largest in lower Assam reaching a depth of about 4mt during the monsoon but falling to about 1m in the dry season. Many waterbirds winter here including Ferruginous Pochard & Grey-headed lapwing. Among more interesting residents are Greater & Lesser Adjutants, water cock, Cinnamon Bittern, Fulvous whistling-duck (small numbers among the common lesser whistling-duck) & Greater Painted-snipe. An uncommon winter visitor, the solitary snipe & the extremely rare and endangered Goliath Heron have been reported from here.
Day 02 : Guwahati-Pobitora
Pobitora is a small 16 sq. km wild life sanctuary just 48kms east of Guwahati. A rear sighting of the highly endangered Rufousvented Prinia of the eastern population, regarded by some as a separate species, Swamp Prinia (burnesii) Cinerascens, has been reported from the grasslands here. Overnight Forest I. B, Nowgong.
Day 03 : Pobitora-Kaziranga National Park
Famous as a last refuge of the Indian Rhinoceros, this superb 430 sq. km track of low-laying grass lands sprinkled with shallow beels and patches of open woodland has much to offer. It is probably the best place to see the endangered Bengal Florican & Swamp Francolin, Greater& Lesser Adjutant can be found alongside. While the graceful Black-necked stork retains a foothold here though declining elsewhere. There are good population of Pallas’s & Grey-headed Fish Eagles as well as Pied Harrier. The sought-after sport-winged starling occurs in large flocks in winter but is usually gone by march.
Day 04 :Kaziranga-Panbari Reserve Forest-Kazirang
Panbari, woodland is some what degraded but still holds good birds. Asian Fairy Bluebird & Black-crested Bulbul are common as are Abbott s and Puff-throated Babblers, the latter two more skulking, haunting the undergrown along with Palechinned Flycatcher. Both Oriental & Great Hornbills are frequent, but you need to be luck to see Wreathed Banded Bay and Drongo Cuckoos are relatively easy to see when they begin calling in late march.
Day 05 : Kaziranga-Dibru-Saikhowa
Kaziranga-Dibru-Saikhowa Wild life Sanctuary is the best Place to see birds such as the threatened marsh Babbler, Jerdon s Babbler, Black-throated Parrotbill, Rutousvented (swamp) Prinia & Jerdon s Bushchat was set up in 1986 in an attempt to protect their fast disappearing habitats. The 340 sq km reserve encompasses a patchwork of seasonally flooded forests, beels & grassy pockets between the braided arms of the rivers Dibru & Brahmaputra. Other interesting residents & altitudinal migrants such as Pale-Capped Pigeon, White-tailed Rubythroat & Black-breasted Thrush may be seen alongside a good assortment of wintering warblers.
Day 06 – Day 10: Namdapha National Park
Arunachal Pradesh in the extreme north east of India is one of the most biologically diverse parts of the subcontinent. Its avifauna is a unique blend of Himalayan, Sino-Tibetan & Indo-Burmese forms. Although not thoroughly explored, 665 species of bird have been recorded within the state. Fabulous species such as Blyth s Tragopan, wardsa Trogon, Rufous necked Hornbill, Blue-naped Pitta, Wedge-billed wren Babbler, Snowy throated Babbler & Beautiful Nuthatch are found in this remote region. Trek inside the national park for 4 to 5 days.
Day 11 : Diboi
Diboi, in eastern Assam is a convenient last night s stopover en route to Namdapha/Dibrugarh. Here explore the nature reserve being set up by the Indian Oil Cooperation to protect the lowland forest in & around the oldest operating oilfield in the world. These still harbour an excellent array of birds including orient at Hobby (near the guesthouse), white-checked partridge, Grey Peacock Pheasant, Wreathed Hornbill etc.

Day 12 : Diboi-Dibrugarh
Drive back to Dibrugarh tour ends.

Day 03 : ITANAGAR – ZIRO Today after breakfast we will visit ‘Itafort’, (from which the city has derived its name) ruins from the 15th century, then set off for Ziro. Visit a village inhabited by NISHI tribes. Lunch on the way. Check into your Hotel. Evening visit local market. Return to hotel. Dinner and overnight.
Day 04 : ZIRO – DAPORIJOAfter breakfast we will be visiting APATANI villages and then proceed to Daporijo. Enroute we will visit TAGIN and HILL MIRI villages. On arrival check into Government Lodge. Afternoon the Meghna Cave Temple, some distance from Daporijo. Check into Circuit House/Lodge. Dinner and overnight.
Day 05 : DAPORIJO – ALONGAfter breakfast in the morning we drive to Along. The main tribe of this area is ADI GALLONG. We will visit their villages on the way. On reaching Along we will visit local market and museum. Check into hotel. Dinner and overnight.
Day 06 : ALONG – PASIGHAT We are going to Pasighat today. Visit more villages on the way. On arrival we check into hotel. Evening sight seeing of Pasighat town. Dinner and overnight.
Day 07 : PASIGHAT – DIBRUGARHAfter breakfast we start our journey to Dibrugarh. Along the way we will cross the mighty Brahmaputra river by ferry. Check into a tea guest house. Evening walk around Dibrugarh town. Dinner and overnight.
Day 08 : DIBRUGARH – KHONSAWe set off for Khonsa today in Tirap district of Arunachal Pradesh. On arrival check into Circuit House. Dinner and overnight.
Day 09 : KHONSA Making Khonsa our base we will be visiting Kheti and Lajo village inhabited by the NOCTE tribe. Overnight at Khonsa.
Day 10 : KHONSA – LONGDING After breakfast we proceed to Longding. On the way drop in at Wakka village. On arrival check into Circuit House. Dinner and overnight.
Day 11 : LONGDING Whole day at Longding. Visit WANCHOO villages. Come back to Circuit House. Dinner and overnight.
Day 12 : LONGDING – KHONSA After breakfast we drive back to Khonsa. Overnight at Circuit House.
Day 13 : KHONSA – DIBRUGARH Drive to Dibrugarh and check into hotel or the tea garden bungalow once again. Evening walk around Dibrugarh town. Dinner and overnight.
Day 14 : AIRPORT TRANSFER After breakfast visit nearby tea garden and see tea manufacture. After early lunch drive to Dibrugarh airport to catch out going flight.

Day 03 : BOMDILA – TAWANG After breakfast we drive to Tawang at 10200 ft. On the way we will be crossing Sela Pass at 14000 ft, the highest motorable pass in the Northeast. Check into Tourist Lodge. Evening walk around Tawang town. Dinner and overnight.
Day 04 : TAWANGToday we will visit the famous 400 year old Tawang Monastery of the Mahayana sect of Buddhism. Intermingle with the lamas ( monks ). Other interesting places are the Nunneries, Kushinang – the birth place of the 6th Dalai Lama, Art & Craft center. Afternoon visit a MONPA village, the local tribe of this area. Evening visit market. Dinner and overnight.
Day 05 : TAWANG – BOMDILA We drive back to Bomdila today. Overnight at your hotel.
Day 06 : BOMDILA – ECO CAMP (Drive from to Bomdila to Eco camp – 135 kms/5 hrs) After breakfast today we will be driving to Eco-Camp, near the Assam Arunachal Pradesh border. Lunch upon arrival. Afternoon, walk on the banks of the river Bhorelli that flows near to your camp.( Eco-Camp has comfortable double bedded tents with a thatched roof canopy). Come back to the camp at dusk. Dinner and overnight.
Day 07 : ECO CAMP After breakfast raft down the Bhorelli river. Expert boatmen will accompany you. Life jackets and other essentials will be provided by Jungle Travels. You can enjoy packet lunch while rafting down or on the banks of the river! In the afternoon, trek inside Nameri National Park. This Park came to the limelight when the near extinct White Winged Wood Duck was discovered here only a few years back. We return to our camp in the evening. Dinner and overnight.
Day 08 : ECO CAMP – KAZIRANGA Drive down to Kaziranga today in the morning. We shall, on our way, cross the river Brahmaputra by one of the longest river bridges in India. Check into Resort on arrival. In the afternoon, jeep ride inside the park, well known for the one-horned rhinoceros. Come back to the resort by dusk. Dinner around campfire. Overnight.
Day 09 : KAZIRANGA Early morning elephant ride inside the park. Return to resort for breakfast. Mid morning visit an Assamese village to see their way of life. Return to resort for lunch. Afternoon jeep ride inside the park from another side. Come back to resort. Dinner and overnight.
Day 10 : KAZIRANGA – GUWAHATI (Drive from Kaziranga to Guwahati – 220 kms/5hrs)After breakfast drive down to Guwahati. Check into yor Hotel. Evening visit emporiums to pick up souvenirs. Dinner and overnight.
Day 11 : AIRPORT TRANSFER Today you will be transferred to the airport to catch your out going flight.
NORTH EAST WONDERS
A 12 day visit to the states of Assam, Meghalaya, & Arunachal Pradesh covering some of the unique things and places in the world including Cherrapunjee, Kaziranga National Park and Sela Pass.
DAY 01: Guwahati-Shillong (03 hrs) Our tour manager will welcome you at Guwahati Airport. After your arrival we will drive to Shillong-‘The Scotland of the East’, the capital of the state of Meghalaya. Reaching Shillong after a drive of approximately 3 hours, we check in at hotel Yalana or similar, freshen up & after a light meal we go out sight seeing.
DAY 02: Shillong – Cherrapunjee (90 minutes) – Barapani (02 hrs) Early in the morning, we will take you to Cherrapunjee, famed for being the wettest place in the world. After a drive of two hours amid pine trees and mists we reach Cherrapunjee. Cherrapunjee possesses some exotic waterfalls and impressive limestone caves. At Cherrapunjee, we visit Nohkalikai Falls, Mawsmai Falls, Thangkharang Park and Mawsmai cave which is one of the 100 odd limestone caves in Meghalaya. Afterwards, it is time for lunch. After lunch, we leave Cherrapunjee for Barapani Lake. Enroute we visit Elephant falls and Shillong peak . At Barapani Lake we check in at Orchid Lake Resort.
DAY 03: Barapani-Kaziranga (06 hrs) First half at leisure by the side of the lake. After lunch, we take a 6 hour drive to Kaziranga National Park, the home of the Great Indian One Horned Rhinoceros. Other residents of the park include elephants, Indian bison, four species of deer, tiger, leopard, capped langur, wild boar, hoolock gibbon etc and a host of both resident and migratory birds. We check in at Bonhabi Resort or Government Tourist Lodges.
DAY 04: KazirangaWe start our Jungle Safari on elephant back early in the morning in the central range of the park, for one hour. Afterwards, back to hotel and breakfast. After breakfast we take you deep inside the central range of the park in a jeep. Then, we come back for lunch and rest for two hours. Again in the afternoon ,we take up another jeep safari this time covering the western range of the park.
DAY 05: KazirangaEarly in the morning ,we go for a jeep safari in the eastern range of the park, famous for the Pelican colony. We come back for lunch and rest for two hours. In the afternoon, it’s time for tea garden visits and a visit to an Assamese village.
DAY 06: Kaziranga-Bomdila (08-09 hrs) Early in the morning, we leave for Bomdila. Enroute we visit Asia’s third largest Orchidarium at Tipi where you can see over 7500 orchids from a collection of approximately 300 species, some of them very rare. Situated at an altitude of 8500 ft. Bomdila offers wonderful panoramic views of Himalayan landscapes and snow-clad ranges. There are beautiful apple orchards and Buddhist monasteries as well. Overnight at hotel Siphiangphong or Government Tourist Lodge.
DAY 07: Bomdila-Tawang (06-07 hrs) Early morning sight seeing in and around Bomdila. Afterwards we leave for Tawang. On the way lies world’s second highest Pass – the Sela Pass (14,000ft.).Reaching Tawang we check in at hotel Buddha or similar.
DAY 08: TawangAfter breakfast we go sight seeing in and around Tawang. We visit Tsongeswar Lake, Paradise Lake, Craft Centre and finally the three hundred year old Tawang Monastery – the second largest Buddhist monastery in the world. The Craft Centre produces some beautiful woolen carpets.
DAY 09: Tawang-Bhalukpung (09 hrs) Early in the morning we leave Tawang for Bhalukpung. Bhalukpung, on the border of the states of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh is a place of enthralling scenic beauty. The sparkling river Jia Bhorali which passes through Bhalukpung is a nature and adventure lover’s paradise. By the side of the river is the Nameri National Park which falls under the Project Tiger.Overnight at Government Tourist Lodge.
DAY 10: BhalukpungThe Nameri National Park is the home of the near extinct White Winged Wood-Duck. Besides, the park abounds in Elephants, Tiger, Leopards, Sambar, Barking Deer, Wild Boar, Gaur, Wild Dogs and a variety of birds including four species of Hornbill. After breakfast we gear-up for rafting over the Jia Bharali river. Afterwards you can explore this beautiful place on foot on your own and at your leisure.
DAY 11:Bhalukpung-Guwahati (06 hrs) In the morning we leave Bhalukpung for Guwahati, the capital of Assam. We check in at hotel President or similar and have lunch. Afterwards we go sight seeing in Guwahati.
DAY 12: GuwahatiAfter breakfast we proceed to the airport for your departure flight and the tour comes to an end.
